FCB Scholarships

Scholarship applications for the 2013-2014 academic year are no longer being accepted. Deadline for submission was January 27, 2013.

Scholarships are awarded annually to business students on the basis of all or a combination of the following: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, major. Various donors have provided scholarships for students in The W. A. Franke College of Business. For the 2012-2013 academic year, 118 FCB students will be receiving scholarships totaling more than $340,000. The scholarships are awarded during the Spring semester for the following academic year.

Available Scholarships

Generous alumni and friends provide scholarships for students in the Business Division of The W. A. Franke College of Business. Descriptions of the scholarships can be found HERE.

Guidelines

Scholarships are for the 2013-2014 academic year.

If you are applying for the FCB MBA program that begins fall of 2013 or you are graduating December 2013, please apply.

If you are graduating in Spring or Summer 2013, please do not apply.

The Scholarship Committee will consider applications only from those students who comply with all of the following basic criteria:
    * be a student in the Business Division of FCB
    * have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (preference will be given to students with a grade point average of 3.0 or better)

The committee will match applicants with the scholarship(s) for which they are most qualified (according to the specific criteria of each scholarship) and make decisions in light of the total information available.

Paper applications are available from The Franke College of Business Dean's Office (FCB Room 214) for those students who are unable to utilize the web application due to disability.

Students who are awarded a scholarship are required to attend the Scholars & Donors Breakfast from 7 - 9 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013.
