Hey there! My name is Amber Bartz and I’m currently a senior pursuing a degree in Marketing with a certificate in Enterprise Systems. I love the outdoors and the relaxing lifestyle of Flagstaff. I enjoy being involved around campus, and one of my biggest roles, next to being a mentor, would be being President in the NAU Chapter of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars organization.
I’m from Kona, Hawaii and made a leap of faith when coming to NAU and I’m so glad I did. I couldn’t think of a better place to be a business student. The W.A. Franke College of Business offers incredible opportunities and resources for students to utilize. The professors are friendly and are always there to help every individual student succeed. Please don’t hesitate to stop by my office hours or email me at email@example.com with any questions you may have or even if you just need to talk.
My name is Lauren Butz and I'm a fifth year senior majoring in Accounting and Marketing with a certificate in Business Economics. I grew up in Portland, Oregon and was recruited to NAU to play soccer. I was a Student Athlete for my first two years of school and love spending my time hiking and exploring Flagstaff. I currently work in the Career Development Office (room 108) and enjoy helping fellow students find activities to further their careers. The W.A. Franke College of Business has provided many opportunities for me and I'm looking forward to helping other students experience the same thing! If you have any questions feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit me during my office hours which are listed on the FCB website or in the Advising Office (room 222).
Hello! I am Glenda Chavez, a junior here at NAU majoring in Business Management and Accounting with a minor in Ethnic Studies. I was born in California and raised in Phoenix. Northern Arizona University is my home away from home; far enough to be independent but close enough for me to visit my family. For me, NAU provides a feeling of comfort and community. Professors of The W.A. Franke College of Business have been a big part of my educational success. They are always there to help, whether it’s in the classroom, during their office hours or catching them at Jazzman’s Café for a quick question.
When I’m not hitting the books I like to spend my time scrapbooking or doing any sort of arts and crafts. I also like to ride bikes, scooters, and skates. I consider myself as being very approachable and as an FCB Mentor I plan on being a helpful resource for students in and out of the office. This is my first year as a mentor and I will make sure to make it a great one. Don’t hesitate to stop by the mentor office or send me an email with any questions. I will reply promptly if you contact me through my NAU email; email@example.com. Adios!
My name is Kady Eglseder and this is my first year as a student mentor and couldn’t be more excited! I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and am currently a senior majoring in Marketing and Management. I chose NAU to experience living in the snow and because I love the small class size where teachers truly care about your success in and out of the classroom.
I am also the Senior Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi and intern for the NAU Athletics Department. When I’m not on campus I enjoy working out, spending time with my roommates, and watching Disney movies.
I’m here to help you with anything you need so please come by during my office hours or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hello! My name is Brandon Jones, and I am a senior majoring in Business Marketing with a certificate in promotions. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I love NAU and Flagstaff because of the snow, the amazing Business building, and the unbelievable level of teaching we get to experience as business students.
This is my third year as an FCB mentor, however I am also the president of Chi Alpha a Christian club on campus. I run a bible study there and I am also a student leader. I also have taught NAU 100 as part of the freshman transition to college program. Feel free to stop by and ask me questions or just to talk during my office hours. You can also reach me through my e-mail email@example.com.
Hello, my name is Zack Juergens. I am a junior majoring in accounting. I was born and raised in Oceanside, CA, a city just a bit north of San Diego. I transferred to NAU after visiting the campus and seeing what the W.A. Franke College of Business has to offer, and also for the mountain scenery of Flagstaff.
This is my first year as an FCB mentor, but I hope to be a resource to anyone who is new to FCB. I am also involved with Beta Alpha Psi, ACFE, and Cru (a Christian organization on campus). Please feel free to come by my office hours or email me if there’s anything I can help you with. Zmj4@nau.edu
Hello, my name is Tiffany-Elise Payne. I am a junior majoring in Management. I am also studying Photography and Planning & Leisure Tourism. I am from Peoria, Arizona, but I moved to Flagstaff and became a Lumberjack because I was drawn to the cool weather, the beautiful campus, and the small-town atmosphere. I also work for the University as a Resident Assistant for Greek Life in Mountain View Hall. I am involved in various NAU student organizations on campus, and I have a genuine passion for student life.
When I’m not on campus I enjoy taking photos, hiking mountains, or exploring Flagstaff. Before attending NAU, I did not declare a major; however, I was so impressed with the students and faculty of the Franke College of Business that I enrolled immediately. If you have any questions about the FCB, NAU, or if you just need to talk please contact me any time at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also stop by in person and say hi during my office hours every week!
My name is Jessica Penman and I’m a fifth-year senior majoring in Accounting with a certificate in Enterprise Systems. I am from a small town in Wyoming, and love taking advantage of what the outdoors has to offer. One of the main reasons I chose NAU was for its four seasons and mountain environment. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, snowshoeing, and reading.
The W.A. Franke College of Business has given me many opportunities that helped develop me into the student that I am today. I’m excited to help other students take advantage of their opportunities as well! Please feel free to stop by my office hours if you have any questions about the FCB, or send me an email at email@example.com.
My name is Torey Schreiner and I am a senior pursuing degrees in Management, Marketing, & Economics. I grew up in a small town in western Washington called Enumclaw. I chose to attend NAU because I wanted to get away from the rain and was drawn by the different opportunities that NAU and the Flagstaff community has to offer. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, especially running and camping.
I have involved myself in a number of activities both on and off campus. I am a voting member of NAU's Green Fund Committee, part of NAU's chapter of American Marketing Association, and also hold a retail job at a camping store in town.
The staff and students in The W. A. Franke College of Business have been a wonderful resource to me in pursuing my academic goals and I hope that I can help students do the same as a FCB mentor. Don’t hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by during my office hours if you ever want to chat!
Hello, my name is Trevyn Scott and I am a sophomore majoring in Accounting and Finance with a certificate in Business Economics. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Although attending NAU has left the ocean behind for now, I love being surrounded by the beautiful snow and skies of Flagstaff, and am always ready to go hiking and exploring in Sedona with friends.
In what seems like such a short time, the W.A. Franke College of Business, as well as its student programs and professors, have each become invaluable resources to my education that have given me some unbelievable opportunities. As a student mentor, I hope to be able to connect students with what they need in order to find success. I can be found in the advising office (Room 222) of the FCB during my office hours, which should be posted at the top of this page. Please come and visit me if you have any questions at all! I can also be reached via email at email@example.com
