Amber Bartz
Hey there! My name is Amber Bartz and I’m currently a junior pursuing a degree in Marketing with a certificate in Enterprise Systems. I love the outdoors and the relaxing lifestyle of Flagstaff. I enjoy being involved around campus, and one of my biggest roles, next to being a mentor, would be being the President of the NAU chapter of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
I’m an easygoing local girl from Kona, Hawaii who made a leap of faith when coming to NAU and I’m so glad I did. I couldn’t think of a better place to be a business student. The W.A. Franke College of Business offers incredible opportunities and resources for students. The professors are friendly and are always there to help. Please don’t hesitate to stop by my office hours or email me at ab862@nau.edu with any questions you may have or even if you just need to talk.
Christina Breen
My name is Christina Breen and I am a senior studying finance with a minor in journalism. I am passionate about traveling and music. I have studied in Costa Rica and England. In my free time, I play piano, guitar, sing, and play soccer. I am from Payson, Arizona and I chose to move to Flagstaff for NAU because of the unique environment and community. I have enjoyed a balance of academic challenges and social activities at the Franke College of Business. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about the FCB or Flagstaff. My email is cjb296@nau.edu.
Lauren Butz
My name is Lauren Butz and I'm a senior majoring in Accounting. I grew up in Portland, Oregon and was recruited to NAU to play soccer. I was a Student Athlete for two years and love being active with everything Flagstaff has to offer. I also enjoy the different seasons and laid back atmosphere this campus provides for its students.
The W.A. Franke College of Business has provided many opportunities for me and I'm looking forward to helping other students experience the same thing! If you have any questions feel free to email me at lb452@nau.edu or visit me during my office hours!
Frances Monroy
Hi! My name is Frances Monroy and I am a senior majoring in Marketing & Finance. I grew up in Carlsbad, California near the coast. I chose NAU because it has all four seasons and because of how strong the business undergraduate program is in the FCB. All the professors and faculty challenge me to be the best student and business professional I can be.
This is my first year as a FCB mentor and I am excited to represent the college in this role. I’m also a facility manager at the Recreation Center and a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Feel free to stop in during my office hours and ask me about anything on your mind about classes, professors, etc. I can answer any questions about The W.A. Franke College of Business. If I’m not available during office hours feel free to e-mail me at fbm5@nau.edu.
Christina Griego
Hey guys! My name is Christina Griego and I am an Accounting major here at NAU. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I have a passion for anything involving the outdoors. I love everything about Flagstaff, especially the small town atmosphere.
The W.A. Franke College of Business has provided me with the opportunities to succeed both personally and professionally, in and outside of the classroom. I love the small class sizes and the ability to have close relationships with my peers and professors. If you have any questions I’d love to hear from you in my office hours, or you can contact me at cmg277@nau.edu.
Jose Diaz
Hi, my name is Jose Diaz. I am a senior majoring in Accounting & Marketing. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. When looking for schools, some of the things that really caught my eye about NAU were the small campus and friendliness of the people here. The small campus is definitely a plus because you receive much more attention from your professors and also being around nice people does not hurt!
Some of my hobbies include playing sports, lifting weights, and going out with friends. I have had a great time in my three years here at The W.A. Franke College of Business and know that my final year will also be fun.
This is my first year as an FCB mentor and I hope to act as a resource to any students starting off in the FCB. If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached at jld348@nau.edu. I will be glad to help!
Brandon Jones
Hello! My name is Brandon Jones, and I am a Sophmore majoring in Business Marketing. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I love NAU and Flagstaff because of the snow, the amazing Business building, and the unbelievable level of teaching we get to experience as business students.
This is my first year as an FCB mentor, however I am also involved with Chi Alpha a Christian club on campus, I run a bible study there and I am also a student leader. I also teach NAU 100 as part of the freshman transition to college program. Feel free to stop by and ask me questions or just to talk during my office hours. You can also reach me through my e-mail bj277@nau.edu.
Torey Schreiner
My name is Torey Schreiner and I am a junior pursuing degrees in Management, Marketing, & Economics. I grew up in a small town in western Washington called Enumclaw. I chose to attend NAU because I wanted to get away from the rain and was drawn by the different opportunities that NAU and the Flagstaff community has to offer. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, especially running and camping.
You can also find me at the front desk in the office of student services. The staff and students in The Franke College of Business have been a wonderful resource to me in pursuing my academic goals and I hope that I can help students do the same as a FCB mentor. Don’t hesitate to email me at ts434@nau.edu or stop by during my office hours if you ever want to chat!
Tiffany-Elise Payne
Hello, my name is Tiffany-Elise Payne. I am a junior majoring in Management. I am also studying Photography and Planning & Leisure Tourism. I am from Peoria, Arizona, but I moved to Flagstaff and became a Lumberjack because I was drawn to the cool weather, the beautiful campus, and the small-town atmosphere. I also work for the University as a Resident Assistant for Greek Life in Mountain View Hall. I am involved in various NAU student organizations on campus, and I have a genuine passion for student life.
When I’m not on campus I enjoy taking photos, hiking mountains, or exploring Flagstaff. Before attending NAU, I did not declare a major; however, I was so impressed with the students and faculty of the Franke College of Business that I enrolled immediately. If you have any questions about the FCB, NAU, or if you just need to talk please contact me any time at tep39@nau.edu. You may also stop by in person and say hi during my office hours every week!
Alexa Tavasci
Hi, my name is Alexa Tavasci. I am currently a senior majoring in Accounting with a minor in English. I come from Auburn, Washington, a rainy city about a half hour south of Seattle. I chose NAU because I love to travel and I’ve always wanted to live in Arizona when I’m not enjoying the northwest.
I have found many exciting opportunities in the college of business and around campus that have made my experience here unforgettable. Flagstaff is a great place because of the small college town atmosphere. If you have questions about anything on campus or just want to say hi you can email me at at422@nau.edu or drop in during my office hours!
