From March 1 – 4, 2017 Northern Arizona University’s Masters of Business Administration Program will be in Calgary, Canada for their annual international trip. The MBA Program takes an international trip every year so that students can gain experience and network within the international theater of business. Students will visit the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary

Their networking will include a mixer with students and professionals. One of the business professors will give a lecture on the healthcare system in Canada. The students will also be given tours of various industries in Canada such as Shell Canada, Peace Hills Insurance, DIRRT Environmental Solutions, and others.

Free time is built into the itinerary to explore Calgary, which may include activities like a Calgary Flames hockey game, or a trip to the Glenbow Museum, which features art and history exhibits.

This trip component of the MBA program provides students with insights on conducting business internationally as well as an exploration of what they might want to do for a career.
