Arizona Daily Sun Welcomes Goebel as New Dean of FCB
New FCB Dean Daniel Goebel was featured in an article titled, "NAU welcomes new dean of W.A. Franke College of Business," in the July 30, 2017 issue of the local newspaper, the Arizona Daily Sun. The article outlined Goebel’s reasons for accepting the deanship:
- He was drawn to the fact that 40-50% of NAU students are first generation students, as is he.
- He felt FCB placed students first, demonstrated in their curriculum and in what is offered outside of that curriculum.
- The quality of the faculty, their ability to identify trends in the business world, and to adapt the curriculum to meet those needs.
- FCB’s connection to its advisory boards.
