February 16-17, 2013, students from Beta Alpha Psi, the honors business fraternity, represented NAU at the annual Western region meeting in San José, California.

Universities within the western United States gather each year in February to attend this meeting where they hear from business professionals about the latest issues in finance and other business fields.

T.S. Amer, professor of accounting and Beta Alpha Psi faculty advisor, accompanied the students, Kevin Oskroba, Holly Krueger, and Roxane Abitong to the event. The students gave a presentation on professional customer service in the accounting industry.

“They all enjoyed the experience. Kevin and Holly did an outstanding job presenting to the group the results of our chapter’s professional customer service initiative,” Amer said.
