Sunday October 28, 2012 the Business Leadership Program (BLP) students went to the NAU Challenge Course (a ropes course) as a leadership-building event.

Throughout the day, the students participated in physical activities and follow-up discussions aimed at enhancing leadership skills. This playlist has video snapshots from two main activities, Leadership as a Balancing Act and Choosing Sides.

Monday October 29, the BLP students attended  a workshop on listening given by Marcia Metcalf and Mary Bowers of the FCB Business Communication Center. The group will take the listening skills from the workshop and practice them at a Hot Topics Café put on by the Philosophy department where the group discusses controversial issues.

The two events were very successful and the students were able to take away great advice that will strengthen their leadership abilities. To find out more about the Business Leadership Program, click HERE.
