Business Students take part in NAU Forensics Team Competitions

FCB business student Jordan Riggs, a sophomore marketing major, particpated in Team Debate with Tyler Thorp, and in Impromptu Speaking in the Northern Arizona University (NAU) Forensics Team competition January 23–27, 2014.

The  team traveled to Long Beach for the “Winter At the Beach” Swing on the California State University-Long Beach campus. NAU was the only public Arizona school participating in debate at the tournament. The six students representing NAU were Dana Krementz, Jordan Riggs, Brandon Rivera, Kendra Straub, Nick Stump, and Tyler Thorp.

FCB business student Timorie Coleman, a freshman business management major, particpated as a first-time competitor in an NAU Forensics Team competition in the category of Impromptu Speaking February 7–9, 2014.

The team traveled to San Diego, California for the Sunset Cliffs Classic Forensics Tournament, hosted on the Point Loma Nazarene University. NAU was the only public Arizona school competing (in addition, GCU competed in debate, as well as ASU and GCC in individual events).

The nine students representing NAU were Timorie Coleman, John Nick Julian, Dana Krementz, Anna Mahaffey, Brandon Rivera, Hayley Roberts, Kendra Straub, Nick Stump, and Chris Whitaker.
