NAU Hotel & Restaurant Management online degree makes Top 5

For many people, moving to a new town or city for school is not an option. Fortunately, universities and colleges offer online study options. Northern Arizona University offers Hotel & Restaurant Management online and according to, NAU is ranked number 4 in the nation! The criteria that are used to rate these programs include Academic Quality, Affordability, and Online Programming and we have a score double the next runner up!  

The Bachelor’s of Hotel & Restaurant Management has been offered by NAU for over 30 years. It has been recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration, a distinction held by less than 20% of all hospitality programs.

NAU offers this degree on-campus, hybrid, and online. Students may choose to take courses in-person and online through any of our field offices in Phoenix and Tucson. We are proud of our ability to reach students across the state, and to those not located in Arizona, because we know we can provide quality education and the opportunity to succeed no matter where they are. 

The courses started being offered online around 1998 and the program was completely online by 2002. Dr. Galen Collins, who helped pioneer the integration of online courses for HRM, taught one of the first-ever online course in the nation on hospitality information technology.
