Paul Thomas (’83 FIN), currently an FCB executive in residence, was featured in the February 2014 Sunset Magazine's "24 Best Places to Live and Work 2014." Flagstaff won its Best place to be finally free recognition and quoted the transition Paul and his wife, Jill, made to return to Flagstaff as he "...downshifted–from high-powered CEO to something lower key and from the California coast to Flagstaff."

Paul was quoted to say, "We asked ourselves, If we had to pick one place to live, where would we really want to be?" and the article went on to say, "Paul parlayed his corporate expertise into a teaching post at NAU in its Executives in Residence program."

The students who are gaining from his real-world experience were fortunate to be on the receiving end of their move back to Flagstaff.

For the full article that features the Thomases, you'll need to pick up the February edition of Sunset's print magazine, authored by Matthew Jaffe.
