Saunders Recognized at the Premier International Conference on Information Systems 2016
Dr. Carol Saunders returned with great news from the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) held in Dublin, Ireland from December 11-14, 2016. ICIS is considered to be the premier IS conference of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), which has over 4,000 members representing universities in over 95 countries worldwide. The theme of ICIS 2016 was Digital Innovation at the Crossroads. There were a record number of submissions and an acceptance rate of 29%.
Saunders' co-authors were Ulrich Remus and Miximili Koffler from University of Innsbruck; Magnus Maehring from Stockholm School of Economics; and Martin Wiener from Bentley University. The paper, titled "Control Modes Versus Control Styles: Investigating ISD Project Control Effects at the Individual Level," was recognized as the best paper in the Managing IS Projects and IS Development track and as the first runner up as the Best Theory Paper for the entire conference.
