The NAU FBLA-PBL chapter has competed and won numerous awards every year since the NAU chapter was established. The State Leadership Conference is one of the peaks of the organization, and it is held every April in Tempe, AZ at the main Arizona State University campus. This year, however, they surpassed the 22 medals from last year's wins and the chapter came home with a total of 42 awards. They competed against every college, university, and community college in Arizona, including ASU and Embry Riddle. One of the members, Tanner Massahos, even received a job shadow offer with a Cyber Security company who had judged some of the events.

The Future Business Leaders of America organization, which is a national organization established in the 1940s, came to NAU as a collegiate chapter in 2015. Giulia Paulet, who has been the president for the 2016-2017 year was recently reelected for the 2018-2019 year and she couldn’t be prouder to partake in the club for her 4th and final year. FBLA offers numerous workshops, guest speakers, and competitions in over 60 events in the field of business.

“I am incredibly proud of every single member, not only as their President but also as their friend and colleague. The majority of the members competed for the first time with us and they showed the rest of the AZ schools what NAU’s students can truly bring to the table, which is immaculate skill and professionalism in their chosen fields.”
