The Bachelor of Information Systems is an undergraduate degree that focuses on practical applications of information systems (IS) and technology to support organizations while adding value to their business. In order to apply technology effectively, a broad range of subjects are covered, such as communications, business systems design/development, data communications/networking, mobile commerce software design, and mathematics.

Information systems specialists and IS management professionals design, build, and implement software solutions that are the driving force in many businesses, not-for-profits, and government agencies. They also are relied upon to analyze existing systems and discover new ways to optimize their performance.
